It starts...
We've all been there. You spend a decent amount of time working on something and would love some feedback, but you wind up with a handful of comments- a few watchers and a stray person that saw it on the front page the 3 seconds it was visible there. So you hit the Random Deviant page or hop through your watcher's watchers, leaving dozens of comments in hopes of getting some comments in return.
Out of 25 deviants, only a third will probably leave you a comment or two. It gets pretty frustrating. Especially because DA is a community and you eventually start to feel like the kid that was only invited to the park because the ball accidentally landed in your yard. So I decided to give this a shot. It's Project Reciprocation. I'm hoping that this will help people get what they give in this community.
What it is
Project Reciprocation is a comment for comment kind of deal. As a member of Project Reciprocation, it is understood that you have agreed to set aside some time to do for others what they have done for you. When someone in the project leaves a comment on your work, you agree to leave a comment on their stuff. By the same token, when you leave a comment on the work of another project member, you are guaranteed a comment on one of your works. Pretty nifty.
What it isn't
This project is not a watch or fave exchange. I'm not trying to get you to watch people back who watch you. It is up to who you who watch. Friends, great artists, everyone has their reasons for watching people. You aren't even required to watch me by any means. If you want to, great! If not, I understand. Also, don't feel pressured to return favorites. The sole purpose of this club is for comment exchange. Not watches or faves.
This project is also not going to dictate how many comments you should give. That means that I'm not going to tell you guys that if you get 5 comments, you need to give 5 comments. The point of this project is for artists to gain exposure and help each other out- make the most of DA. It's a nice idea to ensure equal comments, but at the same time, just because one person has time to comment every deviation in your gallery, doesn't mean you have the time. Just keep in mind what you'd want- The Golden Rule and all that. If it's a reasonable number of comments that are thought out, it
would be great if the favor is returned.
All that being said, let's get this going!
How to Join
Please put a sentence in your signature that say something along the lines of "I'm part of Project Reciprocation." That way the fellow members can recognize you when you give comments to them and know that they should return the favor.

Step 1: Put a sentence in your sig that states that you are a member of Project Reciprocation so people know to give you comments back. This is probably the most important step. You don't even have to wait for me to add you to the list. Go ahead and do it now.

Step 2: Send me a note that says you wish to participate. In this note, let me know what you are willing to comment on. Just art or art and literature (or even just literature). If you don't feel you have the time to devote to reading literature, that's perfectly fine. Simply let me know that you want to sign up for art comments only. If you feel you can read shorter lit, we have a member section for that too.

Step 3: Start commenting!!
If you have an questions, suggestions or concerns, please feel free to let me know.
